‘Flores de Verano' by Ricardo Martí Aguiló (1857-1935).
The painting – which depicts a summer floral bouquet in an opalescent glass jug on a marble column – is signed by the artist and hangs in a fine quality gold metal leaf frame.

Ricardo Martí Aguiló trained with his father, the eminent Catalan painter Ramón Martí Alsina (1826-1894), professor of drawing at the Escuela de la Llotja in Barcelona. Ricardo Martí Aguiló exhibited widely in Spain winning a gold medal at the Plantas y Flores Exhibition in 1895, another medal at the Barcelona Exhibition of 1896, and a third at the Spanish National Exhibition in 1910.
